Attorney Dr. Deimel advises and represents clients primarily in banking and capital market law (particularly credit law, as well as asset management and investment advice) and in the real estate law practice areas of the Breiholdt law firm.

Attorney Dr. Deimel advises and represents clients primarily in banking and capital market law (particularly credit law, as well as asset management and investment advice) and in the real estate law practice areas of the Breiholdt law firm.

In addition, he handles business succession planning and restructuring situations, as well as complex negotiations with banks. Furthermore, drawing on his many years of experience, he is available to serve on supervisory and advisory boards, foundation boards, and investment committees.

Following training as a bank clerk and in addition to a degree as a Dipl. Bankbetriebswirt (ADG), studies at the Universities of Göttingen and Freiburg, and a research assistantship at the Institute for International and Foreign Commercial Law at the University of Göttingen (Prof. Dr. Ulrich Immenga), he earned a doctorate in European antitrust law. He completed his legal clerkship, passed the second state examination, and was admitted to the bar in the Cologne Higher Regional Court district in 1994.

His professional career included positions at a major law firm in Cologne specializing in international commercial law, serving as Head of Legal, Accounting, and Human Resources at a large Volksbank, as well as long-term leadership roles as Chairman of the Board of a Volksbank and as Chief Executive Officer of a trade association.
